La raison d’être de l’AVF de Nice est d’accueillir les nouveaux arrivants, en lien étroit avec les services de la mairie. Grâce à une centaine de bénévoles motivés et engagés, notre association vous propose la pratique de nombreuses activités conviviales qui vous sont présentées dans cette plaquette.
Avec nous, vous serez donc bientôt confrontés à des choix difficiles :
- Les randonnées du jeudi adaptées à tous les niveaux pour vous maintenir en forme et découvrir les merveilles du pays côtier et de l’arrière-pays montagneux
- Les nombreuses autres activités sportives (golf, gym, pétanque, ski, vélo, yoga, marche, bowling,…)
- Les conversations en langues étrangères
- Les ateliers artistiques
- Les activités culturelles ou ludiques
- Les réunions amicales (pique-niques, pots, restaurants,…)
- La découverte des quartiers de la ville

You have decided to come and live in Nice.
Like many of us, you have probably thought about this move for a long time, for
how could we resist the charms and the agreeable lifestyle of this exceptional city?
- A wonderful climate which combines sunshine and pleasant temperatures.
- A heady mix of countrysides without equal, a subtle mix of sea and mountain.
- A full and passionate cultural life enriched by proximity to Cannes, Monaco and Antibes, not to mention the many local festivals in the lovely perched villages nearby.

Now that you are installed in this magnificent city, you will be eager to explore its charms, and to establish new friendships.
The entire purpose, the “raison d’être” of the AVF in Nice is to welcome the newly arrived, working closely with the services of the Town Hall. With the help of a hundred highly motivated volunteers, our association offers you the opportunity to enjoy many convivial activities, as shown in this brochure.
With us, you will soon have to choose between many stimulating adventures:
- Hillwalking on Thursdays adapted to all levels to keep you in good shape and to discover the marvels of the coastal paths and the hills above Nice
- Many other sporting activities (golf, gym, pétanque, ski, cycling, walking, bowling……)
- Foreign language conversation classes
- Artistic workshops
- Cultural and social activities
- Friendly encounters (picnics, aperitifs, restaurants…)
